My Approach
Maybe you're carrying more than you know how to name. Maybe you've been managing on your own for a long time and you're tired of white-knuckling it. Maybe you've tried therapy before and it didn't quite land, or this is your first time reaching out at all. Wherever you're starting from, that's a fine place to begin.
You don't have to have it figured out first
I work with teenagers and adults across the full diagnostic spectrum. Some of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, or a hard life transition. Others are living with more complex or serious mental health conditions. I have particular expertise working with clients who experience psychotic spectrum diagnoses, and I approach that work the same way I approach all my work: with respect, warmth, and a belief that you are more than a diagnosis.
Who I work with
I bring a strong balance of support and direction into our sessions. You will feel genuinely supported and validated here, and you will also leave with real tools and a clear sense of what to try next. I don't think healing happens by talking in circles. It happens when insight and action work together.
How I Work
My Training And Approach
I'm intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which gives us concrete skills for managing intense emotions, building distress tolerance, and improving relationships. I'm also trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which help us work with unhelpful thought patterns and build a life that actually lines up with what matters to you. I don't use a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw from whichever combination of these tools will serve you best, and we adjust as we go.

Our first session is about getting the full picture: what's going on, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping is different on the other side of this work. From there, we build a plan together, one that includes both the space to be fully honest about where you're at and concrete tools to help you move.
